"Make that Diaz Vs McGregor lll" - Fans react to Nate Diaz taunting Jorge Masvidal while calling for next opponent

Nate Diaz recently took a shot at Jorge Masvidal while also fueling anticipation for his upcoming fight.

Diaz secured a majority decision victory over Masvidal in their intense 10-round boxing showdown this past July at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Two of the three judges ruled in favor of 'The Stockton Slugger', while the third scored it as a draw.

The two ex-UFC fighters previously clashed at UFC 244 in November 2019, where Masvidal claimed victory over Diaz via TKO after the third round to secure the inaugural 'BMF' title.

Diaz's latest win marked his first triumph after a challenging debut in the squared circle, where he faced crossover boxer Jake Paul in August 2023. However, the former UFC lightweight title challenger now appears confident about what lies ahead, as he recently took to X to share a photo of himself landing a punch on Masvidal from their boxing bout.

He captioned it:

"Walked through this match easy, ready for the next."

One fan proposed that Diaz should complete his highly anticipated trilogy with Conor McGregor:

Another fan suggested that Diaz should step into the world of bare-knuckle boxing and square off with BKFC co-owner McGregor:

"Roll up to BKFC and take Conor on."

When Jorge Masvidal alluded to a potential trilogy with Nate Diaz

The combat sports community was divided in their opinions regarding the polarizing scorecards from the boxing clash between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. 'Gamebred' was particularly swift in expressing his discontent with the result, alleging that the judges showed favoritism toward Diaz.

During the post-fight press conference, Masvidal expressed his eagerness to settle the score with a potential trilogy bout. However, citing that his loss to Diaz was somewhat a result of the fight taking place in California, 'Gamebred' suggested that their next encounter should occur in a neutral venue:

"I was looking at the fight right now in the locker room. The more meaningful shots, the more meaningful ones I landed. I just feel that it didn't go my way. We're 1-1, we can run it back somewhere like [Las] Vegas, make it a neutral place."
