Matt Frevola causes fan frenzy after posting fan-edited photo replacing Adolf Hitler with himself ahead of UFC Paris bout
Matt Frevola is scheduled to fight Fares Ziam in the headlining fight of the preliminary card of UFC Paris. The Fight Night card will take place on 28 September. The American is eager to return to winning ways after losing to Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 295 in his previous outing.
Ahead of the bout, 'Steamrolla' took to X to share an edited image of himself standing in front of the Eiffel Tower, with Ziam's head on a spike. However, it seems the lightweight contender was unaware that the original photo was taken of Adolf Hitler posing in front of the iconic structure.
Frevola took to X after removing the initial post to share the following:
"Someone made this but I didn't know the origins of the picture."

Take a look at who is fighting on UFC Paris, featuring Matt Frevola's return
Matt Frevola suffered a brutal head-kick knockout against Benoit Saint-Denis in his previous fight. After taking time to recover from the defeat, he will return to take on Fares Ziam in the main event of the preliminary card.
The pair will square off at UFC Paris in September, a card that will be headlined by a thrilling clash between Saint Denis and Renato Moicano. With both lightweights just outside the division's top ten, at No.12 and No.11 respectively, they will be hoping to put on a performance worthy of a top ten spot.
The co-main event features touted French striker William Gomis against Joanderson Brito, who won his previous clash against Jack Shore in controversial fashion.
The featured bout of the main card will pit two welterweight prospects against each other. Former winner of 'The Ultimate Fighter' Bryan Battle will face Kevin Jousset.
Before that, surging middleweight contender Nassourdine Imavov will face Brandon Allen in an important fight for both, who dream of securing a coveted 185-pound title shot.
The main card will be kicked off by a clash between exciting prospects Morgan Charriere and AJ Cunningham.
