Megan Olivi picks her best UFC fight halfway through 2024, sparks fan debate in the comments
Fans recently expressed their thoughts on Megan Olivi's choice for the best UFC fight halfway through 2024. While making their own selections, several people disagreed with Olivi's choice.
The UFC's first half-year was nothing short of entertaining. The multibillion-dollar promotion hosted 22 events during the first half.
But before the UFC begins the second half of its 2024 campaign, Olivi spoke to Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie and recapped the events of the first half of the year, and presented awards. When asked which fight was the best at the midway point of 2024, the UFC reporter responded:
''If I have to pick one, I hope I don't get a lot of backlash for this but I love Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint Denis. I thought that the first round was so intriguing and we all knew that this was a huge test for Dustin Poirier''

''Max dominated the entire fight against Justin .. so that can’t be it. Every round post to post. Dominated…. I like Meagan’s pick, because Dustin was down and then turned the switch and slept Benois.''
Another fan stated:
''Probably Dustin and makhachev. Mainly from the intensity that Dustin brought.''
Other fans wrote:
''Sean vs dricus fs the best answer cuz it’s a back n forth split decison war that nobody knew at the end who won I get some of the answeres but I j feel like if someone gets finished unless it’s in the fifth round how much of a war was it really''
''It's max vs Justin. Nothing can top that fight''
