Merab Dvalishvili posts back-to-back training videos to prove a point amid injury debacle: "You guys are weak"
Merab Dvalishvili has dispelled all rumors of him pulling out of the upcoming fight against Sean O'Malley by sharing back-to-back training footage. Dvalishvili is set to challenge O'Malley for the bantamweight title at UFC 306 next month. The pay-per-view event is scheduled for Sept. 14, two days before Mexican Independence Day at Las Vegas Sphere.
Dvalishvili recently got into hot water after posting a video of an injury he suffered while training. O'Malley became enraged by this and cautioned the Georgian fighter not to pull out of their fight.
However, following the incident, Dvalishvili took to social media and uploaded a video demonstrating his striking technique. 'The Machine' dismissed all the rumors and assured his fans that he wouldn't back out of the O'Malley fight, saying:
"Let's go, guys! Sept. 14, I'm coming, Sean O'Malley; you're in big trouble... I want to tell all these people that everything is good. This is my third training session today, and I got a little cut, but this is part of the training. I'm here with my team, training every day. I'm here in the gym 24/7, guys. You think this little cut is going to stop me? I don't understand. I guess you guys are weak and are making excuses, talking too much."

Dvalishvili can be seen honing his strikes by punching on a pad in another social media post. He also used a grappling dummy to practice his fighting techniques. The 33-year-old captioned the post:
''24 days out, We are working ! Vamos #ufcnoche''

Michael Bisping discusses Merab Dvalishvili posting his injury online
In a recent post-fight press conference for 'Dana White's Contender Series 68', the UFC CEO responded to Dvalishvili's actions, criticizing him for sharing a video of his training-related injuries on social media.
Michael Bisping also joined in to give his take on the matter. Bisping recently uploaded a video on his YouTube channel and stated that if he was in place of Dvalishvili, he wouldn't have posted his injury picture on social media.
Bisping said:
''I tell you what, if I was fighting for a main event against Sean O’Malley to become the UFC champion of the world, and I got cut, I would not post it on social media. I’m not talking s**t on Merab. I think Merab is awesome, he’s a great guy, he’s an incredible fighter...but not everything needs to go on social media!”
