Michael Bisping claims Nick Diaz plotting a title fight against Israel Adesanya is "not in the realm of reality"

Michael Bisping is not on board with Nick Diaz reportedly looking to make a return to the UFC octagon next year. Speaking at a meet-and-greet in Las Vegas, the older Diaz sibling recently also claimed he wants a title fight against Adesanya.

Nick Diaz watched #UFC282 at @CRAZYHORSE3LV last night and spoke to their PR who provided the following quotes:

He is targeting Adesanya 👀

“Whoever is on top at the time, preferably Israel Adesanya, if he gets his title back," he said on a future opponent https://t.co/jKtbpKzzaS

However, Bisping is of the opinion that Diaz might have been less than sober when he made those statements and does not believe in the former Strikeforce champion's capacity to go toe-to-toe with the former middleweight titleholder.

Speaking on the Believe You Me podcast, Michael Bisping gave his thoughts on the reports about Diaz calling out Israel Adesanya. 'The Count' stated:

"Let's not bring that up. 'Cause I don't want to s**t on Nick Diaz. I have so much respect for Nick Diaz. He's been around forever... And we're just going to have to take a gigantic dump on him saying that. 'Cause it's not in the realm of reality."

It seems unlikely that Diazwill get his shot at 'The Last Stylebender' anytime soon, especially considering the Nigerian-born Kiwi's much-desired rematch with longtime foe Alex Pereira.

Diaz last won a bout in 2011 against B.J. Penn at UFC 137 via unanimous decision. Since then, he has lost thrice and has one no contest in his last four fights. His last outing saw him lose to Robbie Lawler via third-round TKO at UFC 266.

Robbie Lawler evens the score with Nick Diaz at #UFC266

Michael Bisping names himself alongside Israel Adesanya and other fighter who could beat Jake Paul

Michael Bisping thinks that Jake Paul will not stand a chance against MMA fighters still in their prime. While Paul has fought and defeated some prominent MMA fighters like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Ben Askren, 'The Count' doubts the effectiveness of the 25-year-old's hands against MMA artists in their prime.

During a recent Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping named himself, Israel Adesanya and several others from the MMA world who he thought could easily beat 'The Problem Child':

"I think a lot of people in MMA would beat Jake Paul. A lot of people who are in their prime would beat Jake Paul. Anthony Smith would beat him, Glover Teixeira would beat him, Israel Adesanya would beat him. I'd f**king beat him with great ease... He's not fighting boxers. He hasn't fought a boxer once."
