"He has been shown to be a little bit chinny" - Michael Bisping foresees a third-round TKO win in "People's main event" Dustin Poirier vs. Michael Chandler at UFC 281
Michael Bisping has predicted Dustin Poirier will find a finish in the third-round against Michael Chandler, due to the latter being dropped in his last few fights.
At UFC 281, Dustin Poirier and Michael Chander are set to go to war and make a claim for their shot at the lightweight title. Poirier has been away from the octagon since losing to Charles Oliveira in December last year. Prior to his loss to the Brazilian, 'The Diamond' was riding high off the biggest wins and paydays of his career, defeating Conor McGregor twice in a row.
For Chandler, few MMA fans will forget his stunning front-kick KO over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. The former Bellator champ has quickly risen to become one of the division's biggest stars and shares a similar history with Poirier, also falling short against 'do Bronx'.
In the latest video on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping discussed the lightweight clash. According to 'The Count', as great as 'Iron' is, he has shown he can be dropped in his previous fights:
"A fight that I think should be labelled as the people's main event is Dustin Poirier vs. Michael Chandler...Poirier is obviously looking for the TKO but Michael Chandler is very tough, however, he has been dropped. He got dropped off Tony Ferguson, he got dropped off Charles Oliveira. He has been shown to be a little bit chinny...I think he [Dustin Poirier] can put Michael Chandler away."

Beneil Dariush picks Dustin Poirier to defeat Michael Chandler
Lightweight contender Beneil Dariush has also backed Dustin Poirier to find a finish against Michael Chandler.
Dariush, the No.4-ranked lightweight, stated that the fight is evenly matched and each fighter has the skills to defeat the other. 'Benny' ultimately believes, however, that 'Iron's desire to be a showman could cost him against 'The Diamond':
"If Chandler fights smart he should be able to win this fight. But Chandler, right now, he's so focused on being exciting, he's so focused on being entertaining and for the fans, he puts himself in really bad situations."
Dariush added:
"I think if he goes out there, plays a very conservative striking game, lot of wrestling, he should be able to pull this off. But in reality I think Dustin Poirier is gonna end up winning this fight because Chandler's gonna try to be more than he needs to be."
