Michael Bisping names "the most exciting" UFC fighter on planet earth right now - "This man is a finishing machine"

Michael Bisping believes Charles Oliveira and the controversy surrounding his UFC 274 title stripping have resulted in him heading into UFC 280 as "the most exciting fighter" on the planet.

Bisping was full of praise for 'do Bronx' ahead of UFC 280 and predicted that the Brazilian will be more likely to find the finish than Islam Makhachev. The former middleweight champion highlighted Oliveria's incredible run of form, which consists of an 11-fight win streak, 10 of which are finishes.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Bisping discussed this weekend's card and believes the main event is one of the biggest of all time because of Oliveira:

"This man [Charles Oliveira] is the most exciting fighter probably on planet earth. Certainly in the UFC right now. The rise this man has had. 11-0 [at Lightweight], 10 of those were finished... of course it's those last four fights we're talking about. As I say, 10 out of 11 are finishes but last time out it was Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler and of course Tony Ferguson. This man is a finishing machine."

Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker debate UFC lightweight GOAT status between Charles Oliveira and Khabib Nurmagomedov

UFC 280 not only pits two of the world's best lightweights against one another but may also settle another debate in the eyes of Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker.

According to the middleweight champion, if Charles Oliveira can defeat Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov has to come out of retirement and face 'do Bronx' to decide who is the greatest lightweight of all time. 'Izzy' started with:

"Okay hot take, hot take! If he [Charles Oliveira] beats Islam [Makhachev], Khabib [has] got to come back. He [has] got to come back and be like, 'I must avenge.'"

'The Hangman' ultimately saw it in a different view and compared the record of 'The Eagle' with Oliveira. Hooker stated that even if Oliveira were to defeat Makhachev, Nurmagomedov's undefeated streak of 29-0 is still better than the Brazilian's, who has suffered 8 losses in his career.

"So, I just feel like it's apples and oranges. Like, he's never going to get those eight losses off his record. And if someone likes apples and they say that being undefeated is the best thing you could possibly do then you're never going to change their mind that Charles Oliveira is better. It just comes down to what you prioritize."
