Michael Bisping reveals path to victory for Paddy Pimblett against lightweight knockout artist
Rumors are flying around as to who Paddy Pimblett will face when he returns to the octagon, with reports claiming a knockout artist is next in line. Michael Bisping has shared his views on how the Scouser can get his hand raised in that potential fight.
'The Baddy' took the UFC by storm after delivering a huge finish in his debut with the promotion, but it was his unfiltered personality that seemingly captured everybody's attention. The outspoken lightweight has a real 'love him or hate him' aura surrounding him at present.
While discussing a potential clash at UFC 288 between Paddy Pimblett and the always-entertaining Drew Dober, Michael Bisping insisted that, although it will be a tough outing, the controversial lightweight has a clear "path to victory":
"Even though Paddy says Scousers don't get knocked out, sometimes they do... In terms of the matchup [Pimblett vs. Dober], I give Paddy a massive grappling advantage. When I say grappling, I'm talking about jiu-jitsu and that's going to be Paddy's path to victory."
'The Count' added:
"He's got to look to grapple, he's got to look to take him down and take his back, and that is what Paddy does best. He's incredibly inventive, explosive, and exciting... He has some of the best back takes in all of mixed martial arts, so that's why and that's what Paddy 'The Baddy's' going to do coming into this fight."

Paddy Pimblett's UFC record: Does 'The Baddy' deserve the criticism after his four fights in the octagon?
Given his brash character, it's arguably easy to dislike a fighter like Paddy Pimblett. But whether you're a fan or dislike the lightweight, is the criticism of his ability warranted?
While there are clear errors and holes in his game that he needs to work on, the 28-year-old knows how to figure out ways to get his hand raised in the cage, as has been seen throughout his four fights in the UFC.
Though his most recent outing against Jared Gordon was less than impressive, the Pimblett hype train was riding high following his initial three wins in the octagon. 'The Baddy' finished Luigi Vendramini, Kazula Vargas, and Jordan Leavitt, with only Leavitt making it to the second round.
With fans quick to change their opinion, a big win would likely switch the love back in Paddy Pimblett's favor.
