Michael Chandler picks the one fighter he would have by his side in a fantasy 155 pounds '2v2'

Michael Chandler continues to entertain his fans and UFC enthusiasts despite his loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 309. In a recent Q and A session on X, Chandler made himself available to fans on the platform for 30 minutes.

A user @michaeljdr77 asked 'Iron' a hypothetical question:

"if you'd have to do a 2vs2 who you want by your side from 155 division?"

Chandler responded and vouched for New Zealand professional mixed martial artist Dan Hooker.

'Iron' defeated Hooker via KO/TKO in the opening round of their prior bout at UFC 257. However, the American has lost four of his previous five UFC fights. He last prevailed over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274.

Michael Chandler still hopes to fight Conor McGregor

Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor were all set to square off at UFC 303. However, 'The Notorious' pulled out of the fight because of a broken pinky toe while training. Recently, McGregor was found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand by a Dublin court.

'Iron' thinks the Irishman should train and prepare for his next fight since it would help him focus again on a "common goal." Concerning that, in a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Chandler said:

"The best thing that he can do... is get back moving toward a common goal… why not fight me? Why not be training to fight me? Middle of next year international fight week before that as soon as possible… we can make that fight happen asap.”

When asked if 'The Notorious' is out for an extended period, who will his top choice be to fight, 'Iron' said:

"oh, man. Am I really in a position to have a top choice… yeah, I gotta go out there and win, man… the fight that makes the most sense is Chandler Vs McGegor to finish the ultimate fighter 31 and we will kind of see what the timeline is there, and we will see what the UFC is thinking.”
