Khamzat Chimaev proclaims himself the "best wrestler in the UFC" ahead of battle with Robert Whittaker
Once Khamzat Chimaev decides to take you down, you're going down. Once you hit the ground, the chances of you getting up and surviving will go from slim to zero. Whether or not 'Borz' decides to wrestle with you. If not, he'll use his iron fists to put you away.
In the official countdown video released by the UFC for UFC 308, the Chechen warrior acknowledged Robert Whittaker's championship-level skills but confidently cited his top-notch wrestling skills and atomic right hand will get the job done.
Chimaev said:
"Robert [Whittaker] as been a champion and one of the best guys at the top. But I don’t care about this. In the war, doesn’t matter, you die. Why should I be worried about him? I’m a complete MMA fighter. I am the best wrestler in the UFC. He needs to worry about my wrestling, and my right hand can knock this guy out."
