Mike Perry and Jake Paul go back and forth in a fiery exchange: "You are going to get married to my fists"

Mike Perry and Jake Paul exchanged words ahead of their boxing match.

On July 20, 'The Problem Child' looks to secure his fourth consecutive professional boxing win and extend his record to 10-1. To do so, the YouTuber-turned-boxer must get through the always dangerous Perry, who has become a massive superstar in bare-knuckle boxing since parting ways with the UFC.

Ahead of their intriguing clash, Perry and Paul engaged in a joint interview on Ariel Helwani's podcast, 'The MMA Hour.' As expected, things quickly escalated into a battle of words, starting with 'Platinum' saying:

"You can respect me, you can try and disrespect me, you can be afraid of me, you ain't gotta be afraid of me. I'm gonna put these paws in your face, and I'm gonna hurt you bad. That's my game plan. I'm breaking the pain on July 20th, I'm bringing it with me. You can hit me as hard as you want, and I will smile in your face."

Paul responded by saying this before Perry quickly interrupted:

"In the sport of boxing, toughness will get you killed, so all that hoopla, all that bare-knuckle idiotic sh*t, coming forward."

Perry continued unloading on Paul with fiery words, ending with the following message to his 27-year-old opponent:

"I'm going to be there all night long. You are going to get married to my fists!"

Why is Jake Paul fighting Mike Perry instead of Mike Tyson?

Jake Paul was scheduled to compete in a historic boxing match against legendary heavyweight Mike Tyson on July 20. Unfortunately, Tyson suffered a health scare due to a worsening ulcer, leading to the controversial bout being rescheduled.

Tyson and Paul will meet inside the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15. Furthermore, the undisputed women's super lightweight rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will serve as the co-main event.

In the meantime, 'The Problem Child' is focused on his upcoming test against Mike Perry. The eight-round boxing match at 200 pounds goes down inside the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, with Serrano vs Stevie Morgan as the co-main event.
