Mike Perry and Jake Paul's combat sports resumes

Mike Perry is a former UFC veteran with 22 professional mixed martial arts contests but he really shot to stardom in the world of gloveless combat.

The 32-year-old has become the face of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and is presently a pound-for-pound ranked fighter as well as the company's King of Violence champion.

'Platinum' has a spotless 5-0 bare-knuckle boxing record having defeated Julian Lane, Michael 'Venom' Page, Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez, and Thiago Alves in the realm of BKFC.

The Michigan native has also defeated former boxing champion Michael Seals in a special rules bout. Perry won via split decision in a boxing rules bout while wearing four-ounce gloves as part of Triad Combat in 2021.

As far as gloved boxing, Mike Perry has had a single Queensberry Rules boxing bout back in March 2015. He was stopped in the fourth and final round of that contest which took place against Kenneth McNeil.

Conversely, Paul has a 9-1 professional boxing record with six finishes so far. The cruiserweight combatant has notched wins over notable names like the aforementioned Askren, Tyron Woodley twice, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. The influencer has teased an MMA fight in the PFL smart cage someday, although nothing has come to fruition as of yet.

Also of note, 'The Problem Child' is still planning to take on Mike Tyson on November 15 following this 'Platinum' prizefight this Summer.
