In their recent face-to-face interview, tension ran high as both fighters exchanged bold predictions and sharp critiques. 'The Problem Child' confidently touted his skills and power, dismissing Perry's chances despite acknowledging his opponent's violent reputation. Perry, in turn, fired back with claims of being in his prime and ready to exploit Paul's perceived weaknesses.

Perry, known for his aggressive fighting approach, promised to capitalize on what he sees as Paul's amateur mistakes. In contrast, Paul, known for his brash persona, labeled the upcoming bout against Perry as a warm-up for a future showdown with Mike Tyson.

The discussion even delved into a past sparring session as their interview progressed. Despite differing recollections about the sparring session, both fighters are eager to settle their differences in the ring:

“Your little baby green punches can’t even reach my brain stem, bro, I’m going to dig through your eyeball and find your memories.”

Paul responded in a humorous manner:

“Please don’t do that. Please don’t do that, Mikey.

Mike Perry casts doubt on Jake Paul's bare-knuckle fighting interest

Mike Perry isn't buying Jake Paul's claims of interest in a bare-knuckle brawl. While their upcoming boxing match heats up, Paul has mentioned being open to MMA or bare-knuckle fighting in the future.

However, Perry, undefeated in bare-knuckle competition, believes Paul will back down from such a brutal fight after their boxing contest. Perry told MMA Fighting:

"One thing I want to remind Jake over and over again is that he wouldn't do a bare-knuckle fight. Whether he says he would or not, especially after this fight in 10-ounce gloves."

He added:

"He wants to bring it up like, 'Boxing is this incredible sport and these hooligans are out there doing this bare-knuckle stuff.' And blah, blah, blah. I'm going to beat him with 10-ounce gloves on. He definitely won't want to do bare-knuckle after that."
