The bout between Tyson and Paul will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA, on Nov. 15. The fight was originally scheduled for July 20. However, the 58-year-old had to pull out due to an inflamed ulcer. The bout will be streamed by OTT giant Netflix.
'Iron Mike's' last professional fight was against Kevin McBride in April 2005. He lost via technical knockout and subsequently retired. Tyson returned to the ring in 2020 for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw.
Meanwhile, ‘The Problem Child’ is coming off a dominant victory over Mike Perry, bringing his career record to 10-1. His only career loss so far came against Tommy Fury.
Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul ticket prices have dropped drastically
The 30-year age gap between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has left many fans concerned for the former, as it may seem unfair for him to fight Paul, who is in his prime at 27 years old and coming off a spectacular performance against ex-UFC star Mike Perry.
When the fight was announced, many people expressed their frustration and anger toward Paul, arguing that it was an unfair and illogical matchup for him. Critics believe he should fight someone closer to his age rather than Tyson. This sentiment may be the reason why fans have seemingly disapproved of the fight and remain hesitant to buy tickets for the event.
AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA, can host up to 80,000 fans, making it interesting to see if organizers can sell out the event. According to their official website, tickets for the Tyson-Paul bout start at $37.
The lowest ticket is priced at $37, while ringside tickets are available for $50,000 each. VIP packages for two ringside tickets will cost a staggering $2 million.
