Mikey Musumeci's underdog mentality has led to impressive finishes: "It was really awesome"
ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci is never one to take anything for granted despite all he's achieved in his career. In turn, the American grappling wizard believes that humble mindset he owns helps him flourish and submit anyone standing across him.
Mikey Musumeci told Cageside Press recently:
"I always look for the finish. So it was really awesome that I've had four finishes in a row. It just shows how comfortable I am now in ONE Championship and how much I value finishing matches. I really believe in my mind, that if I don't finish the match, I would lose."
