MMA coach recounts surprising beef Rafael dos Anjos had with Marlon 'Chito' Vera: "'Chito' would like to be a little sh*t"
An MMA coach recently recounted a surprising beef that Rafael dos Anjos had with Marlon 'Chito' Vera and disclosed how it originated. Dos Anjos is no stranger to coaching fighters who had animosity between them as he has worked with the likes of Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold, who had a famous rivalry that featured memorable soundbites by the Englishman.
The former lightweight champion is a legend of the sport and very well respected, however, it appears as though he was annoyed with online banter being directed toward him. 'RDA' has not shied away from firing back as he did when responding to the likes of Conor McGregor and Islam Makhachev.
During his appearance on Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's JAXXON PODCAST, MMA coach Jason Parillo recounted training 'RDA' at the time and learned that the beef stemmed from the former UFC bantamweight title challenger's online trolling. Parillo mentioned that he broached the topic of Vera coming in to get some training with dos Anjos and was met with a surprising response at the time:
"'RDA' and I didn't even know this too. I got to him and I said, 'I got this 'Chito' Vera kid coming in'. He goes, 'I fu**ing hate that kid'... Because 'Chito' would like to be a little sh*t, would go on fu**ing Twitter and say, 'Hey, fu**ing 'RDA', go fu*k yourself'...He wasn't like, 'Hey, fu*k 'RDA', I'm gonna kick 'RDA's a**'. [Vera] is one of those guys like [Michael] Bisping...He wants to be a fighter. He loves to be a fighter."

Rafael dos Anjos and Marlon 'Chito' Vera appear to be on good terms
Despite Rafael dos Anjos' initial feelings toward Marlon 'Chito' Vera, it appears as though the former UFC lightweight champion is on great terms with the bantamweight contender.
'RDA' and 'Chito's' interaction on X signified that whatever perceptions the former lightweight champion had were long behind him as he sounded off on the judges' scorecards for the Ecuadorian's bout against Song Yadong. Dos Anjos believed that Vera won the bout and that he was robbed on the scorecards and was later thanked by the bantamweight:
"Unbelievable! Crazy judges @chitoveraUFC won that fight"
