Kayla Harrison names her Mount Rushmore of women's MMA fighters
Kayla Harrison recently revealed who she would put on the Mount Rushmore of all-time greatest female fighters in MMA. The two-time Olympic gold medallist, who is one of the most dominant forces in women's MMA herself, had some surprising answers.
Speaking to The Schmo, Harrison began the list by naming her former ATT teammate and current UFC women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. The 31-year-old went on to include four more names on her list. Here's what Harrison said:
"Amanda, Joanna, Cyborg, Shevchenko, Ronda..."
Seemingly, Harrison wanted to make a few more quick mentions before being told that there could only be four faces on the list. To this, the PFL star laughed and replied:
"Nah, my Rushmore has as many as I f**king want."

Will Kayla Harrison fight Cris Cyborg after new PFL deal?
Kayla Harrison made her MMA debut with the PFL back in June 2018 and os considered one of the best fighters in her weight class. The only knock on her career has been the lack of opportunities for marquee matchups in the promotion.
The two-time PFL lightweight tournament winner has also admitted that she needs to beat the likes of Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg to be considered the greatest female fighter of all time.
A fight against 'The Lioness' seems highly unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future. However, there have been talks of PFL pushing Bellator to co-promote a card where Harrison could finally take on their featherweight champion Cris Cyborg. Bellator hasn't publicly expressed any interest in the idea yet.
Harrison has her immediate future secured with the PFL with a new deal in place. This means that the two-time PFL lightweight tournament winner will once again have her sights set on entering the field in the women's 155 lbs division for the promotion's upcoming 2022 season. PFL's new season is set to kick off in April this year.
