#1. Kanye West blasts CEO of UFC's parent company Endeavor
Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, has decided to continue his feud with Ari Emanuel, the CEO of UFC's parent company Endeavor.
Ari Emanuel wrote a piece in the Financial Times urging businesses to cut ties with 'Ye' after the rapper found himself amid massive controversy over his anti-Semitic statements. His stance got him temporarily banned on social media platforms and cost him billion-dollar contracts with brands like Adidas and Balenciaga.
West holds Emanuel largely responsible for his fate.
In a frenzied Instagram post, West wrote:
"You tried to bankrupt Adidas and me at the same time. You tried to destroy my life after all the money I’ve made for the 'business' people. At least as I burn to the stake in front of the whole world… everyone now knows who they need to really be afraid of."
West also blamed Emanuel for the $250 million lawsuit filed against him by mother of George Floyd's daughter, Roxie Washington.

#1. Cain Velasquez's writ of habeas corpus denied by court
The Sixth Appellate Court of California denied a petition for writ of habeas corpus filed by the legal team of Cain Velasquez. The writ of habeas corpus is a legal procedure to remedy an illegal detainment.
The order was issued on Wednesday, as per a report by MMA Junkie based on court record documents obtained by the outlet.
The petition included a 246-page request challenging past rulings of Santa Clara County Judge Shelyna Brown denying the incarcerated former UFC heavyweight champion's bail.
Velasquez is facing a number of charges, including attempted murder of Harry Goularte. An accused child molester, Goularte is charged with a felony for lewd acts with a minor, allegedly Velasquez's four-year-old son.
Velasquez is set for a pre-trial hearing on November 7 in San Jose, California.
