Welcome to today's edition of Sportskeeda's daily MMA News Roundup, where we present the biggest UFC updates and other stories from the world of mixed martial arts.
In today's issue, we talk about a UFC contender calling out Conor McGregor, Jiri Prochazka explaining how Israel Adesanya could beat Alex Pereria in a potential rematch, and more.
#3. UFC contender hilariously calls out Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor has put on a significant amount of weight based on his recent social media posts. On top of that, the former UFC lightweight champion has hinted that he could compete in a heavier weight class when he returns to the octagon.
This could be the logic behind Paulo Costa's recent post, where he called out McGregor, who last competed in the 155-pound division. On Twitter, the former middleweight title challenger wrote:
"Just to let you all know I called Conor mcgregor out to fight 3 times and ufc agreed but he said he was sick for the first and now he said he will be out to enjoy the Christmas with family. I wanted but if was only my fault. Proper Whiskey va Secret juice is going down"

But, of course, Costa's words should be taken with a grain of salt. As the self-proclaimed "Meme God" of MMA, Costa has spent most of his time trolling.
#2. Jiri Prochazka explains how Israel Adesanya can beat Alex Pereira in a potential rematch
It appears that Israel Adesanya just can't find a way to defeat Alex Pereira. After three bouts across kickboxing and MMA, 'Poatan' has beaten 'The Last Stylebender' three times.
However, Jiri Prochazka is of the opinion that Adesanya can recapture the middleweight. The light heavyweight champion has also detailed the road to redemption for Adesanya.
During an interview with The Schmo, Prochazka said:
"You [Israel Adesanya] have to go till the end. Like in my fights, my last fight. That was what [won] me the fight. You have to go till the last second."

#1. Mark Zuckerberg suggests Weili Zhang's next fight
Weili Zhang just recaptured the women's strawweight title in the co-main event of UFC 281. However, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg believes 'Magnum' is ready for a second crown.
Zhang posted photos of herself with her team on Instagram. In the comments section of her post, Zuckerberg chimed in to suggest a potential champion vs. champion fight between Zhang and Valentina Shevchenko.
The Meta CEO wrote, "Congrats! I'd love to see you fight Valentina for a second belt..."

However, Zhang hasn't expressed a desire to capture a second UFC title. There are also several women's flyweight contenders who have made solid cases to challenge Shevchenko.
