Movsar Evloev is willing to fight anyone from UFC after being turned down by Diego Lopes: "Call the UFC"

Undefeated UFC featherweight Movsar Evloev has demanded a fight against anybody else in the division, after his rival, Diego Lopes, turned down the potential bout.

Evloev was set to face Aljamain Sterling at UFC 307 next month, however, 'Funk Master' recently withdrew from the bout due to injury. The Russian then demanded Lopes step in in his place for a rematch of their UFC 288 clash, but the Brazilian wasn't keen on the idea.

Taking to X, Lopes refused another short notice bout against Evloev, having recently gone the distance against Brian Ortega at Noche UFC 306 earlier this month. He then took aim at the 30-year-old's inactivity, writing:

"Brother, since my first victory in the UFC, I called you to fight. You could make excuses, that you were above me in the rankings. Since our fight, I have 5 victories. While you have only fought once. You were lower in the rankings. Not to mention that you have not finished anyone."

Following Lopes' dismissal of a rematch between the pair, Movsar Evloev once again took to social media to lay out the gauntlet for another opponent. According to the No.6 ranked featherweight, he's willing to fight anyone the UFC puts infront of him. He wrote:

"I will fight anyone. Call the UFC if you are interested."

Aljamain Sterling "gutted" to have withdrawn from UFC 307 bout against Movsar Evloev

Aljamain Sterling has expressed his disappointment after being forced to withdraw from his upcoming bout against Movsar Evloev.

After months of trashtalk, Sterling and Evloev were set to settle the score next month at UFC 307. Unfortunately for 'Funk Master', however, he is now no longer able to compete. The former bantamweight champ revealed he had suffered a significant injury whilst training that would require immediate surgery.

Still upset about how everything has played out, Sterling took to X, writing:

"I still can't believe this really happened. Gutted. In due time."

Sterling's injury news also brought him a wave of criticism, with one fan complaining that the 35-year-old is a "pullout merchant". 'Aljo' fired back, however, and demanded the fan point out exactly which fights he pulled out of:

"Help me understand...what fights did I pull out of? The one with Movsar and who else? I'm curious or you heard it somewhere and thought it was cool to repeat nonsense."
