“Multiple belts would be an amazing achievement” - Adrian Lee looks to follow in older brother Christian Lee’s footsteps
Adrian Lee has some big shoes to fill, and he intends to meet all expectations and more in his journey to the top of the mixed martial arts world.
Indeed, being born as the youngest in a family of fighters provided Adrian with many examples to learn from, especially when his older ONE world champion siblings Angela and Christian have paved the way for him.
However, he has his own goal to be the greatest fighter of all time, like he told Sports Illustrated in an interview about his future plans.
'The Phenom' said:
"I plan to be the greatest combat sports athlete of all time… Multiple belts would be an amazing achievement to get in the future."
And he's got a resolve on his own:
"I’m willing to do whatever it takes to prove that I’m the best in the world."
While Adrian Lee still has a long way to go, it would be interesting to see how he fares with the best MMA fighters in ONE Championship, and whether he can top his siblings' achievements to fulfill his own dreams.
Is there a third fight for Adrian Lee in 2024?
Just within a span of three months, Adrian Lee has proven himself to be a young phenom, much like his moniker, and a professional mixed martial artist.
And after a minimal damage in his last outing at ONE 168: Denver, he would likely be returning to action once more before this year ends.
There is a big chance for the youngest of the Lee family to join his older brother Christian in the same card. 'The Warrior' is scheduled to return and defend his lightweight MMA belt against Alibeg Rasulov at ONE 169.
And for now, only time will tell whether Adrian and Christian will share the spotlight inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
