"My adaptability and defense are better" - Petchtanong confident he'll outclass Alaverdi Ramazanov at ONE Friday Fights 68

Petchtanong Petchfergus is set to return at ONE Friday Fights 68 after a long hiatus from competition.

The Thai veteran has proven himself to be one of the best in his weight class in his previous performances under the ONE Championship banner.

In fact, the last time that fans saw him compete inside the Circle was in his ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship win over Hiroki Akimoto.

Now, he is finally back in action on June 28 when he takes on former title challenger Alaverdi Ramazanov at Lumpinee Stadium.

In an interview with ONE Championship ahead of his return, Petchtanong spoke about where he believes he has the edge over his opponent.

In total, he believes that he outclasses Ramazanov in a lot of different categories:

"I think I have an advantage over him in terms of potential, strength, durability, knowledge, and experience. I believe my adaptability and defense are better."

Petchtanong is looking to come back with a bang

Petchtanong will be able to reassert his position as one of the very best in the division if he is able to get past Alaverdi Ramazanov on Friday.

The two contenders have faced and beaten many top competitors between them but now they will meet for the first time under the ONE Championship banner.

As proven by his comments on where he believes he holds advantages over his opponent, the Thai striker is incredibly confident in his ability to get his hand raised at Lumpinee Stadium.

He is sure to have one eye on reclaiming the world championship that once belonged to him but first, he needs to come back with a bang on June 28 by defeating Ramazanov.

ONE Friday Fights 68 will air live at Asian prime time. Check your local listings for more details of where to watch all the action.
