The 32-year-old stated:
"My name is Oumar Kane. After I was given my name, my uncle came back maybe two or three days after and said he saw something on TV and I should be named “Reug Reug”. There was a show on TV before with a scary and dangerous character and when the name on the credits came up, he saw that the name was Reug Reug."
Needless to say, 'Reug Reug' is one of the most exciting talents in the world's largest martial arts organization, and next week, he gets a chance at immortality against a pound-for-pound foe.
