Naoya Inoue vs. TJ Doheny: Full video highlightsÂ
Naoya Inoue put his undisputed super bantamweight title on the line against former IBF super bantamweight champion TJ Doheny at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Inoue's grand walkout
Besides being one of the most talented boxers in the sport's landscape today, Inoue is widely recognized for his charm and persona. 'The Monster' walked out to the song 'Battle Without Honor Or Humanity' by Japanese composer Tomoyasu Hote.

Inoue retains the undisputed super bantamweight title
Inoue invested in the bodywork with heavy punches which took a toll on his opponent. Doheny looked impressive in the opening rounds, avoiding the incoming onslaught from Inoue with his unorthodox movements. However, he started struggling with pain from the fifth round and despite his efforts to continue, Doheny dropped to one knee in the seventh, indicating a severe hip injury.
The referee stepped in to call an end to the contest at the 0:16 mark of the seventh round. With this win, Inoue extended his win streak to 28-0 with 25 finishes. Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank, joined Inoue inside the ring following the fight and highlighted a few plans for the future. He revealed that Inoue will return to action in Japan in December and will potentially compete in the United States next year. He also revealed that Inoue will potentially fight in Las Vegas next year labelling it "a big celebration".
