Nate Diaz gives three-word reaction to Mike Tyson admitting he mistook Hasbulla for a "baby" during first meet

Mike Tyson recently shed light on his viral first meeting with social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov. The boxing legend admitted that he thought the Russian was actually a child, given his diminutive figure, much to the amusement of former UFC fighter Nate Diaz.

'Iron Mike' could be seen hugging and cradling Hasbulla during their meeting, which left many fans believing that Tyson thought the social media star was a child. During the 58-year-old's recent appearance on The Art of Ward podcast hosted by former world champion Andre Ward, he finally confirmed the suspicion long held by fans.

Tyson said:

"Yeah, I thought it was a baby. I thought he was a baby, and he's over there punching me. I don't know man, I just... that's how I am with children... He's like 26 years old!"

Diaz took a video of Tyson's admission, and posted it to X with the following caption:

"This is hilarious"

Tyson's initial meeting with Hasbulla took place in 2022, and the pair have not reconnected since. But the Russian social media influencer has been pictured at major combat sporting events across the globe, and may even be at the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Tyson event on Nov. 15.

Mike Tyson shares one-word warning ahead of Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson will take on Jake Paul in a highly anticipated clash at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on Nov. 15. It will be his first professional fight since 2005, having only competed twice since then, both exhibition fights.

The former heavyweight champion's most recent appearance in the squared circle came against another boxing legend, Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

In the years since Tyson retired from professional boxing, he has admitted that the tenacity and anger that he was known for had subsided. 'Iron Mike' has spoken candidly about how using psychedelics has helped him attain a more peaceful mental space.

But ahead of his return to boxing, the Brooklyn native stated that his "dark side" has re-emerged. With just under two weeks until fight night, Tyson recently took to X to share a one-word message:

"Homicidal"
