Nate Diaz hurls homophobic slur at YouTuber Adin Ross for criticizing Leon EdwardsÂ
Nate Diaz has clapped back at YouTuber Adin Ross for shaming Leon Edwards' UFC 304 loss against Belal Muhammad.
'Rocky' conceded one of the worst defeats of his career earlier in July, at the Co-op Live in Manchester. At the pay-per-view, Muhammad dominated his opponent on the ground from the get-go, giving the former champion little opportunity to get going on the feet.
While the Englishman had some great moments towards the end of the fight, it was hardly enough to make up for the initial rounds he lost. 'Remember the Name' ultimately won the fight via unanimous decision, granting Edwards his first loss over eight years.
Ross, who had allegedly placed a sizeable bet on 'Rocky' to win was understandably furious with the result. Following the event, the social media star had a complete meltdown on KICK, during which he tore into the UFC star, saying:
"Leon Edwards, you are by far the worst champion ever. You lost in your own home country. You f*****g su*k. You are a disgrace to the UFC. You s**k, you s**k, you s**k, you s**k, you s**k. You lost me a s**t ton of money. You are f*****g horrible at what you do. S**k a d**k, you s**k... He is a f*****g champion and he is fighting like that?"

Diaz for one, was enraged by the Ross' antics. The Stockton native clapped back at the Youtuber in an Instagram story with a homophobic slur to boot:
"How about someone beat your a** for talking, you lil f*g."

Diaz and Edwards share an interesting history. Something awfully reminiscent of the UFC 304 main event happened when the pair locked horns at UFC 263 in 2021.
'Rocky' was thoroughly dominating, up until he was rocked and almost finished by the 39-year-old in the final minute of the fight. However, he survived and won via unanimous decision.
In a statement released following the title fight loss, 'Rocky' promised his fans retribution for the defeat:
"I will get this back in blood."
