NBA star Kevin Durant responds to Logan Paul asking about potential Jake Paul fight: "This man been training for a long time"
NBA star Kevin Durant recently expressed his thoughts on fighting Jake Paul in a potential boxing match. According to Durant, he would much rather stick to basketball and has no interest in becoming involved in the celebrity boxing scene.
Durant, who recently signed with Prime, spoke to Logan Paul, Mike Majlak and Ishowspeed in the latest episode of Impaulsive podcast. When the 29-year-old questioned the basketball player about whether he would face Paul in the ring, he replied:
''Hell no. Nah man I seen how he did couple NBA players. This man been training for a long time.''

It's likely that Durant was making reference to Paul's bout with former NBA player Nate Robinson, in which Robinson was knocked out cold in the second round.
'The Problem Child' made his professional boxing debut in 2020, defeating AnEsonGib via first-round TKO. Since then, Paul has compiled a 9-1 record, defeating former UFC fighters Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, Ben Askren, and Nate Diaz.
Paul will return to boxing when he takes on BKFC fighter Mike Perry. The event will take place on July 20 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. On that day, he was scheduled to fight Mike Tyson, and the streaming giant Netflix was supposed to broadcast the bout live. However, the fight got postponed as Tyson withdrew from the fight due to a stomach ulcer flare-up.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Paul weighed in on his upcoming fight with Perry. He shared a prediction of his fight, saying:
"My official prediction for the fight - three rounds or less. Calling it now. These guys can't hang with me, nobody's really been able to see my skill from the past year. I've had new coaches, development has gone f**king amazing and I'm excited to put on a performance July 20."

"I don't think I'll match up against those guys" - Jake Paul names two boxers who terrify him
Jake Paul's professional record of 9-1 includes wins against MMA fighters and non-boxers. Paul, who is open to fighting in any combat sports, admitted that he is afraid of two boxers today.
In an interview with Barstool Boxing ahead of his fight against Mike Perry, Paul said:
"There is like, some heavyweight. I think [Oleksandr] Usyk and David Benavidez are probably the only two people. That's about it. And more specifically David Benavidez is just [a] monster, man. That non-stop pressure coming forward. You can't slow him down. And he just throws bombs switching stances. I mean, that guy's a menace. That's why he's my favorite fighter. But yeah I don't think I'll match up against those guys."
