"Never the same after Khabib” - Conor McGregor slammed as “alcoholic drug addict” by Ali Abdelaziz for mocking Belal Muhammad’s toe infection
Conor McGregor's amusement at the unfortunate injury of Belal Muhammad has been met with a fiery response from the welterweight champion's manager, Ali Abdelaziz. 'Remember the Name' was forced to withdraw from UFC 310 on Dec. 7 after suffering a bone infection in his toe.
Muhammad was scheduled to defend his title against surging contender Shavkat Rakhmonov, with promotional matchmakers hoping to find a replacement for the original main event, potentially in the shape of a welterweight interim title fight.
Following McGregor's withdrawal from UFC 303 earlier this year, he was mocked by Muhammad, who poked fun at the Irishman's famous "foot was a balloon" interview.
Now, after the welterweight's recent injury, 'The Notorious' was ready and waiting to exact revenge, posting several laughing emojis after Muhammad announced his injury.
But Abdelaziz, who has worked with McGregor's arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov for many years, was on hand to fire back at the Irishman. The MMA manager wrote this:
"@TheNotoriousMMA you can never be even 10% of the man Belal is. He's the sitting welterweight champion. You're a sitting alchoholic drug addict who ran from Michael Chandler. You were never the same after Khabib. He ruined you."

Belal Muhammad fires back at Conor McGregor
Belal Muhammad was set to headline UFC 310 alongside Shavkat Rakhmonov before an injury forced the champion out of the matchup.
Fans have speculated that one of two top contenders, Kamaru Usman and Jack Della Maddalena, could be in line to face Rakhmonov for an interim title. But with Magomedov Ankalaev having offered to step up on short-notice for a chance to fight for the light heavyweight title, it isn't clear which direction the UFC's matchmakers are headed.
One thing that is clear, however, is the dislike between Muhammad and Conor McGregor. The pair recently traded words following the American's recent injury, with 'The Notorious' sharing several laughing emojis in reaction to the toe infection, in a since-deleted post.
'Remember the Name' fired back, labeling the Irishman as a "junkie", as @ChampRDS took a screenshot of the exchange and posted it on X.
The welterweight champion wrote:
"I have this for antibiotics... you use needles because you are a junkie. We are not the same."
