"Never lost once" - Nong-O lauds ONE Friday Figths 81 opponent Kiamran Nabati for going undefeated in 21 fights
Former bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama certainly understands how hard it is to consistently win at the highest levels of the sport. As such, he gave props to his upcoming opponent Kiamran Nabati, who has yet to taste defeat in 21 career fights.
The Thai legend will duke it out with the Russian upstart at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut on Sept. 27 inside 'The Mecca of Muay Thai' Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Speaking to ONE ahead of this pivotal duel at 145 pounds, Nong-O admitted he is impressed by Nabati's trail of destruction so far.
“Kiamran’s performances have already been amazing. He’s fought 21 fights and has never lost once,” he shared.
After tearing through the local scene, Nabati took his talents to the world's largest martial arts organization and proved he was ready for the big leagues.
The 29-year-old racked up three straight victories in the Friday Fights series and even earned a $100,000 contract after his one-round destruction of Suablack Tor Pran49.
While Nong-O admires what the Russian has achieved so far, he's hell-bent on ending that unbeaten streak this coming Friday.

Nong-O insists he's still in his physical prime
While Nong-O shook off an ugly skid by rebounding with a massive win against Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai last time out, it feels like his back is still against the wall.
After all, the 37-year-old veteran will face another younger and hungrier lion who has all the momentum in the world after his stellar undefeated run.
Still, Nong-O is confident that his body can still handle the grind and hold its own against the streaking Nabati. The Evolve MMA star told ONE:
“[I don’t know] how many fights I have left. I haven’t counted them yet because my body can still take it. I will keep doing it until my body can’t take it anymore."
