Rodtang called out Takeru Segawa after his win over Denis Puric at ONE 167

During his post-fight interview after the victory, the Jitmuangnon Gym representative called out Japanese superstar and former ONE flyweight kickboxing world title challenger Takeru Segawa to push through their megafight that was scrapped due to an injury he suffered before the match.

But the two combat sports superstars would have to wait a little longer for this to happen, as they both are booked on different fights. Rodtang will defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against Jacob Smith on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta at State Farm Arena.

Takeru, meanwhile, will face Black Panther on September 27 at ONE Friday Fights 81.
