Nina-Marie Daniele blasts MMA influencer for "indecent and despicable" take on female journalist
Nina-Marie Daniele minced no words while addressing 'The MMA Guru's alleged "indecent and despicable" comments regarding a female journalist. The controversy erupted at the UFC 307 press conference when MMA Guru made an insensitive comment directed at journalist Amy Kaplan.
Kaplan addressed the offensive remarks by claiming that she prefers "to remain behind the camera." She cited these remarks as a major factor for her reluctance to speak up at press conferences despite having covered the sport for over ten years.

MMA Guru's remarks drew sharp criticism from Daniele, who expressed frustration over his continuous attacks on her character. She labeled him a “clout-chasing vermin" and asserted that she had to speak up for Kaplan. Daniele defended her approach to the sport, acknowledging that while she may not be everyone's "cup of tea," she is committed to maintaining her integrity.
Daniele launched a strong response on X and wrote:
"THIS is what makes you so indecent and despicable. So much so that I had to say something. THIS is the reason why you will never make it out of that stale basement doing internet interview calls for the rest of your life, prostituting yourself for donations that don’t even cover a premium Zoom account. There’s a reason why you had to take on the role of the heel on the back side of the MMA media industry and it’s because you’re a rude, vile, ignorant, dusty, pathetic troll that causes more problems than you're worth."
She added:
"You owe @PhotoAmy33 an apology and while you’re at it apologize to yourself for turning out less than human, an excrement stain on society, and now the reason another person is going to sleep feeling devalued and violated."
