Nina-Marie Daniele retorts at fan questioning her support for Donald Trump, takes shot at trans athletes in women's sports
MMA content creator Nina-Marie Daniele recently went back-and-forth with fans on social media over her support for former United States president Donald Trump. It all started when Daniele uploaded a picture of herself at the Republican National Convention.
This led to several individuals sharing their thoughts about the 35-year-old's political standing in the comments section. A user named @observantmanc on X questioned her support for Trump, accusing the 78-year-old of creating a divide among American citizens.
"Find it strange you support someone who divides and discriminates so many in America, but I am guessing you're doing this to support your career given Dana's involvement. What do your parents think of this?"
Daniele responded by speaking about her grandparents and sharing how diverse her family was. She then proceeded to reject the idea that Trump was discriminatory.
"I come from a family of conservatives and war heroes. Both of my grandfathers served in [World War 2] and one was given a Purple Heart, my grandmother met him in the war as a nurse. My nieces and nephews are black, Mexican and Dominic Italian, Irish, French etc. Where's the discrimination? - Just a family built off what this country represents, a melting pot of all races and religions and freedom to live. My parents are proud of me and I am honored to be their daughter. Maybe you should observe more and speak less, especially when you have no idea what you're talking about or who you're talking to."
One individual raised the issue of free will of women and asked Daniele to be careful before praising Trump on social media.
The content creator retorted by taking a dig at transgender athletes participating in women's sports.
"Removing the free will of women... you mean the banning of biological men competing in women's sports?"
