Nina-Marie Daniele slams "industry plant" allegations, outlines reasons behind success: "The UFC can't force people to follow me"
Popular UFC content creator Nina-Marie Daniele has finally had enough of the 'industry plant' allegations she's faced since her initial rise to prominence. Taking to X/Twitter, Daniele tore into the rhetoric that her success is a product of the UFC somehow ensuring it.
The notion is that Daniele's independence as a UFC content creator is an illusion, and that she receives funding and support from the promotion itself. Daniele, though, scoffed at the suggestion, arguing that no one is forcing her fans, and even her detractors, to follow her.
"Let's just say I was an industry plant... The UFC can't force people to follow me. I have over 8 million followers across all my channels and they're all real you can check analytics on this. So being a plant seems highly unlikely. And a plant for what? What's the agenda?"
After questioning the logic behind her being an industry plant, as she hasn't been pushing a specific narrative on her platforms, and merely conducts interviews with fighters, most notably former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, with whom she has formed an entertaining friendship.
"All I'm doing is showing another side to fighters that doesn't get shown in traditional media and make people laugh not push a vaccine or an ideology so how is that a bad thing? Maybe just admit I'm actually entertaining LOL. Also, here's a pic of my new haircut... thoughts?"
Her interviews have become notable. She had a recent sitdown with surging UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett, during which he revealed that he and his wife Laura Gregory will continue having children until she births a son.
