Nina-Marie Daniele takes playful dig at Alex Pereira while sharing behind-the-scene glimpse of their collaboration: "My pain makes you smile"
It looks like MMA influencer Nina-Marie Daniele took a trip to Alex Pereira's camp, as 'Poatan' is training for his upcoming title defense against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307. A behind-the-scenes photo of her latest collaboration with Pereira is sure to give fans a chuckle or two.
In a photo Daniele shared on her Instagram story, she can be seen wincing in pain after she seems to have received one of the Brazilian's signature leg kicks.
The image also shows the reigning light heavyweight champion, letting out a cheeky smile after seeing the social media star's plight. Reacting to the picture, Daniele took a playful dig at 'Poatan', writing:
"I'm glad my pain makes you smile 'Poatan.'"
This is far from the first time she has collaborated with the UFC superstar and not the first time she has taken a leg kick from the fighter.
In one of her videos titled 'Alex Pereira teaches me his calf kick', the 35-year-old can be seen crashing down to the canvas after receiving a kick from 'Poatan' with one percent of its power.

Daniele has also collaborated with Pereira in another video, where the former GLORY champion walks her through how he throws his powerful left hook.
Her quirky humor and unique interview style have made the former model a popular name in MMA reporting. As such 'Poatan' is far from the only UFC star she has collaborated with.
Daniele's segments with promotional icons including Sean Strickland, Israel Adesanya, and Valentina Shevchenko have racked up thousands of views on social media.

Being two of the top fighters in the division and a pair who could very well cross paths in their career, it would be an unlikely sight to see Jon Jones and Alex Pereira dancing together. Suffice it to say that Nina-Marie Daniele has pulled off the impossible.
In a footage posted by Daniele on her Instagram, she can be seen dancing to Mexican tunes at the UFC Noche event in the Las Vegas Sphere, with 'Poatan' and 'Bones' on both her sides.
The video shows the trio dancing gleefully, with the UFC champions greeting each other with 'Poatan's' signature word 'Chama'.
