Nong-O certain his experience will give him the edge over "young gun" Kiamran Nabati: "Will definitely help me a lot"

Kiamran Nabati has yet to taste defeat throughout his fight career, but former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama believes his experience could play an influential role in changing that narrative when they lock horns at ONE Friday Fights 81.

ONE Championship returns to Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, Sept. 27, with a card brewing with epic stand-up wars, including Nabati and Nong-O's three-round bantamweight Muay Thai joust.

The Russian fighter eyes to take his perfect resume to 22-0 at the expense of the ever-brilliant Muay Thai icon. And while his performances are a telling tale of what fans can expect from him, Nong-O vows to put the young gun through the wringer via his fight IQ and experience.

Speaking to the promotion, the Thai striking veteran said:

"My experience throughout the years will definitely help me a lot when I fight against a young gun like him."

Thus far, three have attempted to dent Kiamran Nabati's pristine slate in the promotion. None have succeeded.

The 29-year-old picked up a unanimous decision win over four-time Muay Thai world champion Pongsiri PK Saenchai in his debut and followed up with another dominant display over his teammate Avatar PK Saenchai six months later.

In his third outing inside the ONE ring, he finished Suablack Tor Pran49 inside the opening stanza to move 3-0 in ONE Friday FIghts and secure a life-changing six-figure deal from the organization.

Nong-O's veteran experience could be the kryptonite to derail the Kiamran Nabati hype train

While recent history suggests that Kiamran Nabati could pull one of the biggest upsets at ONE Friday Fights 81, it's hard to completely rule out Nong-O's chances at a win this Friday.

The former kingpin — who suffered back-to-back losses to Jonathan Haggerty and Nico Carrillo last year — returned to winning ways against 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, using his veteran experience to stay a step ahead of his Thai compatriot.

It wouldn't be much of a surprise if the 37-year-old sticks to the same tactics to wipe out Nabati's O from his record.

The Archangel Michel fighter may have youth and power on his side, but Nong-O's ability to connect at the right time and beat his foe to the punch could well earn him a much-needed win inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai' on Sept. 27.
