“Nong-O is going to beat him” - Superbon says Kiamran Nabati has no chance against legend at ONE Friday Fights 81
ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon of Thailand says rising Russian star Kiamran Nabati has absolutely zero chance of beating his close friend and legendary Muay Thai fighter Nong-O Hama.
Superbon is headed back to Bangkok next week for ONE Friday Fights 81, where Nong-O faces Nabati in a three-round bantamweight Muay Thai war.
Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Superbon shared his thoughts on the upcoming matchup between the young star and the aging legend.
The Superbon Training Camp founder said:
"I think it’s gonna be a good fight because Nong-O still trains very hard. He’s still good and has a lot of experience. With his experience, I think he can beat that guy. I think the guy [Kiamran Nabati] has beaten a lot of fighters, but not big names like Nong-O."
Superbon continued:
"So I think the match will be really fun, because Nabati needs to experience high level [competition] because before [this fight], he didn’t have that high level [opponent] on his record. So this is gonna be good for him, [but] I think Nong-O is going to beat him because he still trains really hard. He’s still fresh and he still does the things that he can do before when we spar."
