Nong-O Hama eager to thwart Kiamran Nabati: “He is confident that he would be able to win against me”

Longtime former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and all-around Thai legend Nong-O Hama is no stranger for the top contenders of 'the art of eight limbs' to want a piece of him. Nong-O has been dealing with callouts his entire career. That's what he gets for being a legend.

But the latest man to call him out is looking for a spot on the main roster of the world's largest martial arts organization and will do nothing to get what he wants.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Nong-O talked about why he was not surprised upcoming opponent Kiamran Nabati wanted to fight him.

The Thai legend said:

"Well, it's not only Kiamran who has been calling me out at this present hour. I think the reason that he called me out is because he is confident that he would be able to win against me. But I will try my best to win against him. I will try to not make that happen. I want to win against him as well."

Nong-O Hama will be looking to make it two wins in a row and fight his way back into world title contention. A win over Nabati could seal the opportunity for the 37-year-old veteran.
