"Old school training style" - Fans marvel at the painful way Thai superstar Jo Nattawut trained his lethal kicks

Current number two-ranked ONE featherweight contender Jo Nattawut recently revealed the method by which he learned to hit a kick accurately when he was just starting to learn the art of eight limbs.

ONE Championship posted a video of Nattawut going through the old training drill he had in the gym, and the promotion captioned the short clip with:

In the video, Smokin' Jo showed a wooden pole with a pad attached to it. He revealed that they were asked to kick it with precision. He even demonstrated it with a few kicks and mentioned that he would let fans imagine the consequence when they miss a kick.

Jo Nattawut to face Tawanchai for the third time on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta

With two incredibly close and competitive matchups from their previous encounter in October 2023 at ONE Fight Night 15 and June 2024 at ONE 167, Nattawut and reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai is now booked to meet for a trilogy match on November 8 at ONE 169: Atlanta.

The two Thai athletes will square off once more inside the State Farm Arena and will try to end their rivalry once and for all. Tawanchai is ahead in their head-to-head score with 2-0.
