Oleksandr Usyk arrives to watch Joyce vs. Chisora, ends up getting puzzled by O2 Arena fan support despite win over Tyson Fury

Oleksandr Usyk, who is coming off a thrilling win over Tyson Fury, which crowned him the undisputed world heavyweight champion in boxing, arrived at the O2 Arena to watch the Joe Joyce vs. Derek Chisora fight. Despite having beaten several English fighters, he was greeted with tremendous support.

Usyk even led the arena in a rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond during a ring-side interview. Before doing so, he answered questions about who he thought would emerge victorious from the Joyce vs. Chisora main event. When asked why he was given such a warm reception by the fans, Usyk shrugged:

"Because I... I don't know, like, I love my fans, I love U.K. I like to be here now, I don't know."

Check out Oleksandr Usyk responding to O2 Arena support with bemusement (1:15):

The Ukranian legend is currently scheduled to take on Fury in a rematch on Dec. 21, where he will look to settle their rivalry by going 2-0. Meanwhile, 'The Gypsy King' has found himself in a difficult position, as he has never had to withstand the stresses that come with defeat in professional boxing.

Furthermore, there's room for concern. For now, though, Usyk is enjoying his relaxation before he heads into another training camp. He recently relinquished his IBF heavyweight title, which promoted former conquered foe Daniel Dubois from interim IBF heavyweight champion to the undisputed IBF heavyweight king.

Dubois is now scheduled to defend his newly minted heavyweight title against another modern heavyweight boxing great Anthony Joshua, who is also another one of Usyk's past victories.

That bout, though, is likely far from Usyk's mind, as he is now keen on supporting Chisora in his bout with Joyce, which is currently underway and taking on the complexion of a typical heavyweight slugfest.
