Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, and Terence Crawford share different takes on what went wrong for Anthony Joshua against Daniel Dubois
Boxing stars Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury and Terrence Crawford were in attendance for Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois on Sept. 21 and shared their thoughts on the outcome of the fight. 'AJ' and Dubois locked horns for the IBF heavyweight title in a clash that was held at the Wembley Stadium in London, England.
'Dynamite' put on a masterclass on the night and scored a brutal knockout victory in the fifth round of the bout.
Fury reacted to the result by claiming that the heavyweight division was unpredictable and any fighter could get knocked out.
"It's heavyweight boxing, boys. It happens. S**t happens. You get knocked, sparked out. It could have been me. It could have been you. It could have been anybody. In the heavyweight division, it's what happens... one punch away from being smashed, knocked out."
Upon being asked what possibly went wrong for Joshua, 'The Gypsy King' said:
"I think what went wrong is what always goes wrong in heavyweight boxing - a good right hand on the end of the chin. And that was it."

Usyk also shared his thoughts on the fight backstage. 'The Cat' claimed that he was not surprised with the outcome as it was the nature of the sport of boxing.
"Not shocked because it's boxing. But Daniel Dubois, today, [was] better."
Usyk went on to explain how Joshua's footwork technique might have worked against him in the fight.

Crawford also chimed in, saying Joshua's overconfidence might have played a role in him suffering the brutal defeat.
"I think Joshua, you know, got overconfident. He hurt [Dubois] with a shot and went for the kill but he forgot about his defense and forgot, you know what I mean, about the fundamentals."
