"On the road to get this win" - Jonathan Haggerty nearing peak heading into Superlek rematch in Denver
With every passing day, two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty believes he's getting right where he wants to be for his Superlek rematch in the main event of ONE 168: Denver.
The Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground fighter puts his ONE bantamweight gold on offer against 'The Kicking Machine' inside Ball Arena on Sept. 6, six years removed from their first clash in England.
Aiming to redeem himself and put a stop to the ONE flyweight kickboxing world championship's amazing 10-fight winning streak, 'The General' has left no stone unturned during his 13-week fight camp, which primarily took place at Lamai Muay Thai Camp in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Touching on his form and training in heading in "The Land Of Smiles" in a clip on his YouTube channel, Jonathan Haggerty said:
"Being around the whole culture, the scenario in Thailand is great for me, for my mindset, you know. Just putting myself in my Muay Thai body. I've still got a lot of training to do. We're on the road to get this win."

Jonathan Haggerty has gone 3-0 since shifting his camp to Koh Samui
The 27-year-old British superstar has turned over a new leaf since deciding to relocate his camp in Koh Samui for his majestic title-winning knockout of Nong-O.
Jonathan Haggerty has racked up another pair of stoppage victories against Fabricio Andrade (for the vacant ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title) and Felipe Lobo in his first Muay Thai title defense.
While still working under the guidance of Christian Knowles of Knowlesy Academy, Haggerty is closely monitored by Ralph Beale, the co-founder of Lamai Muay Thai Camp, on the tropical island.
This should come in handy for the British star striker once more as he seeks to defend his crown against Superlek, who has sights on joining an elite list of two-sport world champions on one of the most stacked fight cards of the year.
