Two lightweight MMA athletes have made their way to the global stage as Adrian Lee and Antonio Mammarella was matched against each other at the ONE 167 card on Saturday morning.
Both prospects showcased their MMA arsenal and displayed an incredible fight inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday morning. Lee and Mammarella wanted to kick start their ONE Championship career on the right note.

Round 1: Lee immdiately went on attack mode and peppered Mammarella with punches. This onslaught backed Mammarella on his back foot. After the striking blitz, Lee quickly shifted into grappling and secured a takedown less than a minute into the fight.
Lee continued his early dominance in the fight with ground-and-pound strikes and even threatened a D'Arce choke. But Mammarella's grit allowed him to get back on his feet. However, Lee once again secured his second takedown and worked his way to more ground-and-pound strikes.
Lee also tried to end Mammarella with an inverted triangle and kimura submission, but the Italian was saved by the bell.
Round 2: Lee quickly dragged Mammarella down the mat in the second round, but Mammarella quickly bounced up. The Singaporean-American once again took Mammarella down and maneuvered his way into a rear-naked choke finish at the 1:56 mark of the second round.

Adrian Lee made a dream debut in ONE Championship by submitting Antonio Mammarella in the second round of their lightweight MMA battle in Bangkok and made the first step in the right direction in emulating the success of his siblings, Christian and Angela, who became world champions in the promotion.
He dominated his Italian opponent right from the opening bell in all aspects of the fight, be it in the striking or grappling department. Because of this fantastic performance, the youngest Lee earned the first $50,000 bonus from the card.
