ONE 167 results: Itsuki Hirata vs. Victoria Souza

The second match of the loaded ONE 167 card inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, saw two atomweight MMA contenders, Itsuki Hirata and Victoria Souza, battle it out in an exciting battle.

It was a battle of two high-level grapplers who were both looking to crack a spot in the stacked 115-pound division and make a run for the championship. The intense fight went down on Saturday morning.

Round 1: Started off a striking battle at the center of the Circle, with Souza using her kicks and Hirata letting go of her hands. Less than two minutes into the match, Hirata tried to take Souza down, but the Brazilian successfully defended it.

Souza took advantage of this miscalculation by Hirata by pulling the guard and jumping into a tight Guillotine that put 'Android 18' to sleep. She picked up the submission victory at the 1:31 mark of the opening round.

Victoria Souza collected her second victory under the world's largest martial arts organization by putting Itsuki Hirata in the opening round of the atomweight MMA clash.

Souza improved her ONE Championship record to two wins and two losses and returned to the winner's circle after previously dropping her last fight in March 2024. It was the Brazilian's sixth first-round finish of her professional career.
