ONE 167: Who won the $50,000 bonuses?

The loaded ONE 167 card went down in front of the sold-out crowd of the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday morning. Tawanchai PK Saenchai's defense of his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title against Jo Nattawut for their rematch headlined the event.

10 exciting fights across four combat sports in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling were featured, as spectacular finishes were produced. Who among the big names on the card has secured the coveted $50,000 bonus from ONE honcho, Chatri Sityodtong?

#3 Adrian Lee (lightweight MMA)

The youngest of the famed Lee family, Adrian Lee, kicked off his professional MMA career with an incredible victory over fellow promotional debutant Antonio Mammarella by submitting him via a second-round rear-naked choke finish in their lightweight clash.

Lee dominated the Italian right from the opening bell in both the striking and grappling departments. This emotional victory for the 18-year-old prodigy has not only set him on the right track to follow in the footsteps of his older siblings, Christian and Angela, who became world champions but were also $50,000 richer after the fight.

#2 Kade Ruotolo (lightweight MMA)

Reigning ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo made a triumphant MMA debut against Blake Cooper during their lightweight contest. The one-half of the famous Ruotolo brothers have shown a glimpse of his striking arsenal against his fellow American.

Ultimately, he went back to his bread and butter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and maneuvered his way into a rear-naked choke finish in the opening round. The fight officially ended at the 3:20 mark of the match when Cooper was forced to tap. This display of grappling supremacy from the Atos representative has earned him another $50,000 bonus.

#1 Mikey Musumeci (bantamweight submission grappling)

ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci was able to avenge his loss from long-time heated rival and former tormentor Gabriel Sousa during their bantamweight submission grappling match with a leg lock submission. 'Darth Rigatoni' only needed less than four minutes to force a tap out of the Brazilian star.

This revenge became sweeter when ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong awarded him an additional $50,000 performance bonus. Musumeci was generous enough to share the money with two of his coaches, whom he'll reward with $10,000 each.
