ONE 168 results: Jonathan Haggerty vs. Superlek Kiatmoo9
In the ONE 168: Denver main event, two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty took center stage to put his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship on the line against the flyweight division’s reigning kickboxing world titleholder, Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Superlek and Haggerty previously met in 2018, before either one of them ever stepped foot inside the Circle. On that night, ‘The Kicking Machine’ came out on top via a second-round doctor’s stoppage TKO. Haggerty was determined to even the series and establish himself as perhaps the best pound-for-pound Muay Thai fighter in the world.
Round 1: Haggerty gets his jab going early and goes right at Superlek, landing a nice right hand that backs up the Thai. Perhaps encouraged by the immediate success, Haggerty moves in quickly, but Superlek times Haggerty’s entry perfectly and lands an incredible elbow that puts ‘The General’ on the mat.
Haggerty gets back to his feet, but not before the referee reaches 10, bringing the end of the bout in the opening minute.

‘The Kicking Machine’ is now a two-division ONE world champion, holding both the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai title and the ONE flyweight kickboxing crown.
Speaking with Mitch Chilson immediately following his sub-one-minute victory over Haggerty, Superlek was awarded a $50,000 bonus from ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong for his impressive performance in The Mile High City.
As for what comes next, Superlek said he would let Sityodtong figure that out, but whether it’s at flyweight or bantamweight, he will be ready to defend both titles.
‘The Kicking Machine’ remains unbeaten in the art of eight limbs under the ONE Championship banner.
