ONE 168: Thai legend Seksan puts ONE Championship roster on notice with nail-biter classic against Tyson Harrison

Veteran Thai fighter Seksan Or Kwanmuang has had an impressive run in ONE Championship. It all started with a hard-earned victory in an epic barnburner over Australian Tyson Harrison in his promotional debut in January last year.

"The Man Who Yields To No One' took 'John Wayne Noi' in the first iteration of the ONE Friday Fights series on January 20, 2023, in a catchweight (139.99 lbs) Muay Thai match. The two engaged in a continuous brawl right from the get-go of their three-round clash in front of the famed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the end, it was Seksan who emerged victorious by decision, trumpeting his entry as a force to watch out for in the ONE roster.

The 35-year-old fighter followed up his victory over Harrison with seven straight victories, which was only snapped in his last fight in April by Japanese Yutaro Asahi. Despite the loss, Seksan remains a top draw for fight fans out to see an action-packed affair.

Seksan returns at ONE 168 in September

Seksan Or Kwanmuang returns to action on September 6 at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., taking on Liam Harrison in a catchweight Muay Thai battle. It will be his first fight back after absorbing his maiden defeat in ONE Championship last April at the hands of Japanese Yutaro Asahi by unanimous decision.

The loss snapped an eight-fight winning streak the Thai legend kicked off his journey in the promotion with, since debuting in January last year in the ONE Friday Fights series.

Meanwhile, out to frustrate Seksan at ONE 168 is Harrison, who is making his comeback after more than two years since injuring his knee in his title match against former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama.

ONE 168 will be ONE Championship's second live on-ground event in the United States. It will take place at the Ball Arena in Denver and air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
