The world's largest martial arts organization returns to the Lumpinee Stadium with ONE Friday Fights 83 on Oct. 18.
That evening, live in Asia primetime from Bangkok, Thailand, promising talents from the Muay Thai and MMA realm vie to secure a life-changing six-figure contract. With so much on the line, this one should be another night of electric action as its predecessor events from the iconic venue.
At the top of the bill, Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree seeks to bag his fourth back-to-back run against Superball Wankhongohm MBK in a 139-pound Muay Thai war.
The 27-year-old has found his groove after starting his ONE Friday Fights campaign with three defeats in his first four. But having been firing on all cylinders since, he finds himself as a favorite in this pivotal showdown.
Still, he won't have it easy as Superball has proven time and time again why he is one of the most distinguished pressure-fighters in "The Art of Eight Limbs."
The TDed99 martial artist has come out on top in three barnburner contests against Kongklai Sor Sommai (twice) and Julio Lobo. Unfortunately for the Thai striker, he heads into this war off a knockout loss to Russian beast Ilyas Musaev inside the Mecca of Muay Thai this past July.
However, if he can turn back the clock and explode in trademark fashion against Panrit, there's every chance he could end the show with another emphatic win in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 83.
The card will also feature the return of multi-time Muay Thai world champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon, Mungkorn Boomdeksean, Dentungtong Singha Mawynn, Antar Kacem, and Songfangkhong FA Group.
