ONE Championship: Full card confirmed for ONE Friday Fights 84 on October 25
The legendary Lumpinee Stadium has another banger on deck when the latest installment of ONE Friday Fights premieres on Oct. 25. ONE Friday Fights 84 sees another 24 world-class Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling athletes take to the ring in a bid to secure a lucrative six-figure contract to compete on the global stage.
Topping the can't-miss showcase in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday is a 137-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle between Kongsuk Fairtex and 'Elbow Zombie' Muangthai PK Saenchai.
The Fairtex Training Center carries a three-match winning run heading into the Mecca of Muay Thai this Friday. Most recently, the 24-year-old fighter earned arguably the biggest victory of his career in a well-deserved decision win over multi-time world champion Yodlekpet Or Atchariya.
While he'll fancy himself to leave the Thai capital city with his hand raised, he'll need to make sure there are no unforced errors throughout the duration as the always-dangerous Muangthai only needs one opportunity to pounce and hunt for a finish.
'Elbow Zombie' has faced the who's who of the striking realm over his 250-fight resume, including wins over battle-tested veterans and fellow generational stars. As his nickname suggests, the Thai does his best work with his elbows whenever he has opponents in range or in the clinch.
Other Muay Thai stars looking to impress on the night are Parham Gheirati, Sonrak Fairtex, Sunday Boomdeksean, Xavier Gonzalez and Petsaenkom Sor Sommai.
The promotion's latest ONE Friday Fights card will kick off with a lightweight submission grappling duel between Yuan Yi and Tomoshige Sera. The lone MMA matchup sees Marwin Quirante and Phan Thanh Tung duke out in strawweight action.
