ONE Championship to launch ONE Fight Arena, announces partnership with blockchain Sui
ONE Championship recently announced a groundbreaking partnership with the first-of-its-kind Layer 1 blockchain company, Sui.
As confirmed during a recent panel at the world’s largest crypto event, Token2049, at Sui’s Singapore Builder House, Sui will become ONE’s official blockchain partner after signing an undisclosed deal.
This innovative partnership will kickstart a line of amazing products, including the highly-awaited ONE Fight Arena free-to-play mobile game built by Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Notre Game.
ONE Fight Arena, which has been in development for quite some time now and is close to completion, will feature the promotion’s elite martial artists competing across MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling, to go along with ONE’s massive IP library.
As the game nears its official release, fans certainly can’t wait to play the digital version of their modern-day heroes, powered by Sui’s world-class technology, to provide a satisfying gaming experience.
Moreover, Sui also developed a comic and manga series about ONE’s athletes, which will allow fans to win nifty rewards like phygital collectibles, which blend physical and digital aspects through a free-to-play pick’em game. This unique feature will be accessible on Sui’s zkLogin powered by the Walrus protocol.
Meanwhile, ONE Championship’s co-founder Hua Fung Teh had this to say about ONE and Sui’s match-made-in-heaven collaboration:
“In today’s competitive landscape, capturing attention demands high-quality, interconnected, and engaging experiences. By offering world-class events, innovative gaming, second-screen features, and leveraging Web3 technology, we aim to connect with fans on a deeper level."
He added:
“Sui perfectly aligns with these objectives, and we are thrilled to partner with them as our official blockchain partner to bring this vision to life.”
Sui will also gain significant visibility in all of ONE’s marquee events, which broadcast globally to over 190 countries (and counting) through some of the biggest networks in the world, including Prime Video, Sky Sports, Globo, Channel 7 HD, U-Next, Seven Network, and Disney+ Hotstar, and ONE Championship’s massive digital and social media platforms.
