ONE Championship releases hype video for Adriano Moraes heading into ONE Fight Night 10

At ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, Adriano Moraes will once again compete for the ONE flyweight world championship when he faces Demetrious Johnson for a third time.

As one of the most successful fighters in ONE Championship history who is no stranger to big rematches, Moraes has proven himself to be one of the best competitors on the planet during his 10-year run under the ONE banner.

In a recent video posted on YouTube, ONE Championship recapped the story of ‘Mikinho’ up to this point, emphasizing all the adversity that he has battled through to get to this point.

Check out the video below:

After being abandoned as an infant, Moraes’ early life started out in an orphanage until the age of three when he was adopted by his mother.

With a place to finally call home, Adriano started training in Judo and Capoeira at the age of seven before finding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

After making his name by competing in Brazilian MMA promotions, Moraes signed to ONE Championship in 2013 and from that point on, has had several reigns as the ONE flyweight world champion.

A huge aspect of his career that the video highlights is his history with rematches. Adriano Moraes’ run as the inaugural flyweight champion was ended by Kairat Akhmetov, who he defeated in their rematch.

The Brazilian also competed in the first ever trilogy bout inside the Circle when he defeated Geje Eustaquio by unanimous decision in 2019.

Following that fight, Adriano Moraes faced Demetrious Johnson for the first time, becoming the first man to knock ‘Mighty Mouse’ out and kickstarting their trilogy that will culminate at ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5 at the 1stBank Center.

The entire event will air live and for free via Prime Video for North American viewers.
